Alibaba Group Holding has reported an 8% increase in revenue for the quarter ending December 2024, totaling 280.2 billion yuan ($38.38 billion). This growth is attributed to advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and e-commerce. CEO Eddie Wu announced plans to invest aggressively in AI and cloud computing over the next three years, aiming to achieve artificial general intelligence (AGI). The company's stock has risen by more than 12% following this announcement.
